Learn how God became real in Robyn’s life:

For the first 38 years of my life I believed in the existence of God but God was distant and I didn’t know how to reach him.

Then someone I met told me how I could know God and have a personal relationship with him. She said because God was a Spirit the way to know him was by his spirit.

The Bible also said I needed to be baptised in water. So I was baptised by full immersion and when I asked God for his Holy Spirit I knew I had received this Holy Spirit because it was evidenced by the sign of speaking in tongues – a new language that God gives you to pray to him in.

This was a turning point in my life and it was as if a great weight was lifted from my life. God became real and the bible became relevant.

That was over 20 years ago and God has done many wonderful things in my life and helped me in many ways.

God has healed me of asthma, provided for me and my family and through his bible has given me a direction on how to live my life.
